The ski resorts of Harrachov, Rokytnice nad Jizerou, Paseky nad Jizerou, Rejdice and Příchovice boast 6 ski lifts, 36 chair lifts, 40.5km of downhill slopes and 200km of cross-country trails.
The ski resort of Harrachov with its wide selection of downhill slopes and cross-country trails is well known among fans of ski jumping. Several world records have been set on Harrachov’s ski jumps and top names from the world of ski jumping regularly take part in world championship events there.
The history of Harrachov is closely linked with the glass industry and as well as the local glassworks. Visitors to the local glass museum can now enjoy a new beer spa.
Beginners and experienced skiers alike will enjoy Rokytnice nad Jizerou thanks to it varied terrain (620–1315m above sea level).
The slopes are now served by two modern four-seater lifts and a 6-day adult ski pass costs 3,600 CZK (156 EUR), a child’s pass 2,760 CZK (120 EUR).
In the Jizera Mountain towns of Albrechtice, Josefův Důl, Severák and Bedřichov, you can rent ski equipment or sign up for courses at Pomi, whose services we highly recommend.
