Moving to Prague

Praque town (photo: CzechTourism)

So you have decided that you want to live in Prague. Renting an apartment in town is not as easy as one might think. First of all, rent is often more expensive for foreigners than for Czechs. One reason is that the agencies that focus on foreigners tend to charge higher prices. Furthermore, prices in Prague (especially in the center) are as high if not higher than most large European cities.

You can find English-language classified ads for apartments or for room-sharing at www.expats.cz.
