Around Ungelt and Týnský dvůr in the Old Town
Not far from Old Town Square is Týnský Dvůr, located at the intersection of three small streets: Týnská, Štupartská and Malá Štupartská. Here, you can see the richness of Prague's merchant past.

Ungelt

This complex of buildings, also known as Ungelt, served foreign merchants as a common lodging place and customs house.
The Unglet court is entered from behind Týn church, through a wonderfully asymmetrical Renaissance-era gateway. Ther the three small streets come together in a triangle, adding to the sense of having entered another era.
Just on the left before entering the gate, you’ll notice the House with the Gold Ring (Dům U zlatého prstenu), which now houses one of Prague's municipal galleries and is home to both temporary expositions well as a permanent art exhibit.
Exiting Ungelt through the eastern gate, we find a remarkable church dedicated to St. James, the pilgrim saint.
