16th days of European film
February 2009 - 16th day of european film will be held in Prague from 16th to 23rd April, subsequently in Brno from 24th to 30th April and in Olomouc from 27th to 30th April 2009.

Traditionally, the Prague section of the Festival will take place in Světozor and Lucerna cinemas,, Brno will host the cine-meeting in the cinema of B. Bakala and Olomouc in Metropol cinema.
in the past years, the organizers also plan The Echo of the Days of European Film in several regions – Uherské Hradiště, Boskovice and Veselí nad Moravou. The status of the Official Event to Accompany the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU was conferred on this festival of the contemporary European cinematography this year. Apart from presentation of the contemporary film production, the festival will introduce a section devoted to the 20th anniversary of the fall of the iron curtain. This category will include documentaries films reflecting on the subjec
