Pre-Christmas benefit concert
November 18, 2010 -On November 28, the 15th annual Christmas benefit concert will be held at the Sue Ryder Home for seniors, with a performance of Jan Jakub Ryba's classical mass.
Come and enjoy a classical Christmas concert featuring Jan Jakub Ryba's mass, performed at the Church of the Savior, right by Charles Bridge in Prague.
The cost of admission goes to the Sue Ryder Home, which is dedicated to providing support to seniors in the last years of their lives.
Performing at the concert will be the Charles University choir and the orchestra of the University of Economics, under the direction of Haigo Utidjiana. The following solosts will appear: soprano Olga Krumpholcová, mezzo-soprano Veronika Hajnová Fialová, tenor Ondřej Socha, and bass Petr Sejpal.
Admission is CZK 160 / 80. Free for children under age 3. Reservations can be made on the Sue Ryder website.
Tickets are sold at the Sue Ryder charity shops or at the door, beginning at 4.30pm.The concert starts at 5pm.
