A Christmas shopping tip for Prague
December 2009 - Between the local and tourist holiday-shoppers, Prague's center and Old Town can be overwhelming on the weekend. If you are looking to do your shopping in a more relaxed atmosphere offering something for all the family, we recommend the Metropole shopping mall, located on the edge of Prague but easily accessible by metro.

Opened in 2002, the Metropole is without a doubt on of the most pleasant shopping malls in Prague.
Grand, spacious and well-designed, the Metropole rarely feels crowded, even during the busy pre-Christmas season. And you will find many of the same shops as in the center of town: Marks and Spencer, Mango, Promod, Puntanela for the children, Sportisimo, Electro World, Interspar, and more.
Children aged three years and older can be dropped off at a supervised playground, and the larger kids can be entertained with laser tag, bowling, or a movie while you do the shopping.
What is more, during the advent season the large fountain will be present a son-et-lumiere display on the weekends at 11:00, 15:00 and 18:00 or weekdays at 15:00. All drivers receive free Starbucks coffee will propose, as for him, between November 11 and 23.
