Austerlitz 2008 - preliminary program
November 2008 - From 28 to 30 November 2008, the traditional commemoration of the Battle of Austerlitz, including a re-enactment, will take mark the 203rd anniversary of the "Battle of the Three Emperors" (2 December 1805).

About 1,000 re-enactors from all over Europe (the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary) will participate at Austerlitz 2008, whose main program highlights inclue a re-enactment of the battle under the Santon hill, beginning at 3pm on Saturday, and a remembrance ceremony at the Peace Monument on Sunday at noon. Other events will take place at many of the towns on or near the battlefield.
Note: The re-enactment program may be changed according to the weather conditions and traffic situation in the the various towns. There is no entrance fee.

- Saturday 29 November 2008 07:30–08:00... Žuráň hill - welcome ceremony
- 10:00–10:30... Slavkov u Brna - parade of the French army on the square
- 11:00–13:30... war march from Mokrá to Tvarožná , maneuvres
- 15:00–16:30... Tvarožná (under Santon hill) - battle re-enactment
- 16:30–16:45... Tvarožná - solemn defilé 19:00–20:00... Slavkov u Brna - defile, parade on the square and fireworks
- Sunday 30 November 2008 09:00–10:30... Slavkov u Brna - musket fire competition
- 10:00–10:30... Slavkov u Brna - parade of the french army at the square
- 12:00–12:30... piety act at the Peace Monument
