Celebrate St. Nicholas Day on an antique steam train
November 29, 2011 - On the evening of December 5, you may encounter many groups of people dressed up as St. Nicholas, an angel, and a devil - always the three traveling together. St. Nicholas Eve is always a wonderful treat, especially on Prague's Old Town Square. But here is a way to celebrate this day a little differently: try the antique steam train on December 3 and 4!

St. Nicholas Day on a steam train - a unique experience
Travel with St. Nicholas, the angel, and the devil in style in an early 20th-century steam train. Saint Nicolas, the patron saint of children, will be there to greet the younger passengers.
Good children will receive presents, but those who have been bad will get the traditional lump of coal.
The adult fare is CZK 180 (saturday) and CZK 160 (sunday), children's tickets are half price for children aged 6 to 15. Children under six ride for free.
Departures at 10.05am, 12.20 pm, 2.29 pm, and 4.40 pm
