Christmas at Metropole Zličín
December 6, 2011 -At the Metropole Zličín shopping center, you can celebrate the end of the year with gifts and activities.
Opening hours at this extensive shopping mall have been extended for the entire pre-Christmas season, with stores opening half an hour earlier every Friday through Sunday and on December 22 and 23.
The mall also features a singing fountain, with a sound and light display every hour on the hour from 10am to 9pm.
Family events not to be missed include a photo studio by the information both near the Christmas tree where you can have a professional portrait taken that you can send as a present to family members for a symbolic price. Proceeds go to a charity engaged in the plight of Afro-Czech children in the country's orphanages, who must face not only life in an institution but also discrimination.
The Metropole shopping center is easily reached via metro to the Zličín station.
