Christmas at Castles and chateaux
December 2008 -When you visit castles and châteaux, you will realize that Christmas time is coming. This will be evident from the festively decorated chambers, guides in period costume and Christmas fairs in the settlements around the castles.

There’s certainly lots to see and do at Christmas Markets (December 13 & 14) taking place at Loket Castle.
Demonstrations of the craftsman’s and swordsman’s art are great entertainment for you and the kids, for whom the organisers are also putting on a ‘cake tournament’.
Křivoklát Castle will be the venue for two Advent markets over two weekends (December 6 & 7 and 13 & 14). This will include music and theatre performances.
Christmas celebrations in 18th-century Baroque style, carriage rides, a live nativity scene, craft stalls, fish and Christmas tree stalls, hot treats and drinks – all of this and more awaits you on December 13 at the chateau in Mnichovo Hradiště) during a special Valdštejn Nights event.
