Czech Street Party 2010
22 June 2010 -The biggest Czech cultural event in Brussels is back! The 4th of the Czech Street Party will once again showcase some of the most popular Czech music bands along with the finest new talent hailing from Central Europe.

The entry is FREE for all! The Czech Street Party will take place on Friday, 25 June 2010, on Rue Caroly, Ixelles, in front of the buildings of the Czech Permanent Representation to the EU and the Czech House. The Street Party builds on the success of the event in previous three years that attracted multinational crowds of thousands.

The headliner, Support Lesbiens, has been around since the early 1990s and is one of the most famous Czech rock bands. Tleskač, built upon the ruins of a famous punk group, will rock Rue Caroly with their ska music.
NiceLand has been hailed as one of the most talented bands coming from Central Europe. BekOfis is the cream of the Prague pop-rock scene. And Kočko Orchestr, falling into the world music category, will open the event with their take on traditional Moravian music.
The musical feast will be accompanied by Czech beers, Moravian wine and other local specialties on offer.

The event is organised jointly by the the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, the city of Prague, the Pilsen region, the Moravian-Silesian region and representations of other Czech regions, companies and institutions.
