Do you speak “cuisine”?
May - The restaurant Passepartout and the language school Belécole met together to present the original lessons of cooking. The idea is to discover the French cuisine, its vocabulary and its culture. The lessons are designed for all admirers of French cuisine who have the basics of French (level B1).
The lessons will take place in the restaurant Passepartout in the Saturday mornings. The session begins by the French workshop (9:00 to 10:30) after having a coffee and croissant. T
hen the cuisine workshop follows – we start preparing the meal (10:30 – 12:00).The participants will be (in the group of two people) charged with the preparation of a starter, a meal or a dessert. They will be advised by the chef of Passepartout.
The lesson will finish by tasting the common “results” accompanied by the French wine.To have an idea and a wish to come, the menu of the Saturday, 16th May is following: Starter – “Paupiette d´aubergine”; Meal – “Chicken à la Basque” and Dessert – “Mousse au chocolat”.
The first session takes place on 16th and 23rd May, the second on 13th and 20th June.It is a good occasion to learn cooking the French meals directly in French!
