January 2008 - An invitation to discover opera all around Europe...Opera companies all around Europe will celebrate the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue on the weekend of 15 to 17 February 2008.

Over time, opera has created bridges with other art forms and cultural heritage from various backgrounds in order to grow.
These European Opera Days honour the diversity of opera, and its openness to the world of today, and tomorrow!
The Prague National Opera are planning to mark European Opera Days with
- visit of theatre buildings and workshop
- workshops for children in collaboration with the prague children opera
- lectures with artists
