Grand Restaurant Festival starts Sunday!
January 10, 2012 - The third annual Grand Restaurant Festival, the premium food fest in the Czech Republic, is just around the corner. The festival runs from January 15 to February 15 in 20 cities and at 63 restaurants throughout the country.
Visitors to this unique festival will get a taste of incredible meals at special prices, all at restaurants that have received distinguished reviews in the Czech equivalent of the Michelin Guide, "Sélection Maurer."
A special bus will take participatns on a tour of various restaurants; you can choose from four routes. Each tour will visit three restaurants. One of the buses will travel from Prague to Pilsen.
In order to participate in the festival, simply choose your tasting day and time at the restaurant of your choice. Tickets have been available since December at the organizers' website. Tastings range from CZK 200 to 600.
