March 2009 -Czech Railways' eShop offers discounted international tickets to select European cities (Berlin, Dresden, Nuremberg, Munich, Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Warsaw, Krakow, Budapest, Ljubljana). Travel to Berlin for EUR 29 or to Vienna for a mere EUR 19 and to Brno for just EUR 9.
Czech Railway's Pendolino travels to Vienna and Bratislava
For trips to Slovakia, convenient SparNight tickets are available on direct night trains and include a ticket as well as a couchette supplement.
The number of seats available for each train, date and direction is limited. In total, Czech Railways offers several hundred seats daily to the above-mentioned destinations.
The ticket includes a seat reservation, except for tickets to or from Nuremberg, Munich and Ljubljana.
Tickets can be purchased no later than 3 days prior to commencing the journey, except for SparNight tickets to Slovakia, which can be purchased up to two hours prior to the train's scheduled departure from its originating station.
