Legendary Canadian singer and songwriter Leonard Cohen makes his first visit to Prague this month at the Sparta Praha hockey arena.Cohen started out as a poet and novelist, but by the 1960s and ‘70s was best known as a folk singer-songwriter with songs such as “Suzanne” and “Bird

on a Wire”. He experienced a revival in the 1980s with a new sound on the album “I’m Your Man”.

The title song and two other songs from that album – “First We Take Manhattan” and “Everybody Knows” became hits.In recent years, Cohen has shown no sign of slowing down, having released three albums since 2001. He’ll be sure to play both his old and new hits in Prague.
