Open house at the Czech Senate, Sept. 28

September 2009 -Take advantage of an open house on 28 September to explore the buildings of the Czech Senate

From 10 am to 5 pm (last entry at 4.30 pm) on 28 September, the holiday of the Czech Republic's patron saint, St. Wenceslaus, the public can tour the inside of the Senate of the Czech Republic in the Wallenstein and Kolovrat Palaces. The buildings will also be open the the national holiday, October 28.

The free guided tour of Wallenstein Palace lets visitors see historic rooms, the inside of a senator's office, the Senate president's reception room, the President's Room, the negotiation room and other rooms.

The Kolovrat Palace can be viewed without a guide. Visitors can see the Rose and Green Rooms. On display in the Green Room is a copy of the Munich Agreement.
