From 16 March to 3 April, visitors to Prague will have to do without the popular cable car which ferries passengers from Újezd street in the Lesser Town up to the top of Petřín hill.
Visitors will have to walk to the top of the hill or take other transport. In order to reach the Petřín tower or the Štefánik Observatory, the nearest public transport access is (from Dejvická metro) bus 143, 149 or 217 to Koleje Strahov or (from Karlovo Náměstí metro) bus 176 to Stadion Strahov.
