Prague Museum Night 2010
June 1, 2010 -The seventh annual Prague Museum Night will take place June 16 from 7pm to 1am. During this time, almost all of Prague's museums, galleries and cultural sites will be open to the public free of charge.

Prague Museum Night
Following in the tradition of many other European capitals, one night a year Prague's cultural institutions throw open their doors to the public. And all venues are free, with just a few exceptions: the Vyšehrad National Monument and sites administered by Prague Information Service. These will charge a symbolic admission of 1 to 10 crowns.
Also free of charge will be transportation via special bus routes set up to carry visitors from one site to the next. As in previous years, the central transfer point will be on Jan Palah Square in front of the Rudolfinum.
This year, 28 cultural institutions and 53 sites are participating, and many have prepared special or entirely new exhibitions. Visitors will also be treated to many special events such as guided tours, recitals, theater performances, movies, lectures, discussions, concerts and more.
More information, including a list of participating institutions, can be found on the event's website.
