If you are leaving the Roxy after a concert or a couple of drinks, but the night (for you anyway) is still young, stop by next door at Dlouhá street no. 37. Head to the end of a pretty paved courtyard yard, past slightly time-worn walls which, and climb the stairs on your left to the Druhé patro, literally the second floor. One ring of the bell and you will find yourself in a club prized by conoisseurs of nightlife.

The group of people behind Druhé patro have outdone themselves in the decor department: an immense room reminiscent of a ballroom with vertiginous profiled ceilings and sofas spread around the center. If you want, you can rent the small side room for a birthday or other party. DJs add life to the party. Since photographing the interior is not allowed, you will just have discover this unusual place on your own.

For night-owls, insomniac artists, and Bohemian in search of inspiration, ther is only one address for the afterparty: The Clan, at Balbínova street no. 23 in Prague's Vinohrady district. This "private club for good people" (their slogan) is the exclusive destination for anyone whose evening starts in the middle of the night. Opening times are Tuesday to Saturday, from 2:00 until...
