Ski carnival in Rokytnice nad Jizerou
February 17, 2009 -February 17, 2009 - Pass a unique week-end in the mountains. Smuggler´s week-end is waiting for you from February 20 till February 22 in Rokytnice nad Jizerou in the Krkonoše mountains. Only 1h30 from Prague you can visit original carnival with the subject of smugglers. You can watch it and at the same time make on ski the longest czech ski-slope.

The program starts on Friday at 10 am on the main square of Rokytnice. The visitors will discover traditional craft market, live music, carnival gastronomy and smuggler´s carnival parade.
At around 5 pm everything will move to the ski center with a big fashion show, acrobatic tricks, downhill ride with torches, jumps and smuggler beauty contest. The evening will finish with a fireworks at 6.30 pm.
On Saturday from 9 am you can come in a historical costume or on wooden ski and you´ll get your all day ticket for only 100 CZK. The whole day you can test for free K2 skis, profit from adrenaline fun on bungee running, free telemark training, a fashion show of old-time ski costumes and others. The program will finish at around 4 pm.
On Sunday there is a children ski competition with the prize for the youngest skier.
