St. Patrick's Day in Prague
March 10, 2010 - Purists may claim that March 17 should be celebrated only in Ireland, the home of Saint Patrick. But, like Halloween, Saint Patrick's Day is today celebrated all over the world. So why not in Prague?

In fact, Saint Patrick's Day - in the form of the Irish Music Festival - has been celebrated in the Czech Republic for some 13 years. So for the occasion, this year from March 14 to 20, Prague will be wearing green!
Music, dance, and Irish specialties are the order of the day for fans of the Pogues, the Irish jig, and beer.
At the James Joyce and at Caffrey’s Irish Bar, Irish and Czech musicians will be providing a Celtic musical atmosphere, and Guinness and whiskey will flow freely.
More information on the Irish Music Festival can be found here.
