Velislav's Bible in Nový Smíchov
January 2008 - From Tuesday, January 15 till Sunday, January 20, from 11:00 -18:00 will visitors of OC Nový Smíchov have a unique opportunity to see a facsimile of one of the most famous Bohemian medieval scripts – so called Velislav‘s Bible.
The script will be shown in three copies and those, who will be interested in buying this unique
bibliophilic piece, will have the opportunity to do so. Velislav’s Bible is a meaningful cultural heritage and has been published in an exclusively limited edition 199 pieces for Czech Republik.
According to experts, this fascimile of the book is the best that has been published and is almost identical with the original. Every single book of this edition is numbered and comes with a certificate of quality and identity with the original.
