- Forbes.com: Prague airport H1 net up by 9.7 pct, revenues up by 6.6 pct Prague airport, which is set for privatisation next year, netted 654 mln crowns in the first half of the year, up by 9.7 pct year on year, the company said today. Revenues grew 6.6 pct to 2.6 bln crowns and the passengers number soared by 9 pct to 5.58 mln.
- Portfolio.hu: AAA Auto issue price set at EUR 2 per share on Prague bourse Conditional trading with the shares of Czech used car delaer AAA Auto Group N.V.'s has begun on Monday at the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE). Wednesday will be the first official dealing day, when AAA AUTO's stock will be floated on both the Prague and Budapest Stock Exchanges. The price of the shares in Czech used car dealer AAA Auto Group NV was set at EUR 2, as suggested by several brokerages, more than 10% below the maximum price.

- Ceské Noviny.cz: Czech Josef Capek's painting auctioned for record 12 million Prague- Czech Cubist painter Josef Capek's picture Girl in Pink Clothes was sold for 12 million crowns at the auction of Galerie Art Praha today, which is the second highest sum paid for a painting in the Czech Republic, organiser Vladimir Neubert told CTK.

- Swissinfo: Swiss Czech-mated out of top Davis Cup group The Czech Republic has relegated Switzerland to the regional level of Davis Cup tennis after beating the Roger Federer-led Swiss 3-2. Radek Stepanek defeated Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka 7-6, 6-3, 7-6 in the decisive fifth rubber, giving the Czechs victory in Prague and a place in the 2008 World Group.
