Youth Baseball Prague (YBP) – 2009 Registration
March 2009 - This is the fifth year that Youth Baseball Prague offers a youth baseball program to Prague's international community. The group's goal is to teach children the fundamentals of baseball while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. All children are invited to join and experience the fun of baseball!

Registration and information day: 28 March 2009 at 3pm at International School of Prague's cafeteria and gym. Organizers will provide information about the program, accept registration forms and payment, and offer a clinic on the basics of baseball.
Children should wear gym shoes and bring their gloves.
Open to Boys and Girls (ages 5-12). The group your child plays in is determined by his/her age on 30 April 2009. (Advanced players, at the discretion of the league, can request to play with an older group.)
- T-Ball (ages 5-7), CZK 700 per child
- Minors (ages 8-10), CZK 800 per child
- Majors (ages 11-12), CZK 800 per child
Registration fees cover the cost of a uniform (a shirt and hat your child gets to keep) and equipment. Baseball gloves are not included; your child will need to have his/her own. Gloves are available at local sporting goods stores and via the internet
Dates and location: The season runs from 28 March to 13 June 2008. Minors and majors meet each Wednesday at 5.30pm and on Saturday at 3pm. T-Ball meets on Saturdays only at 3pm.
There is no training during International School of Prague's spring holiday (12-19 April).
