Golf in the Czech Republic

The country has 60 quality golf courses with 9, 15, 18 and 39 holes, with many new 18-hole courses in the works
Marianské Lázně Royal Golf Club: Founded in 1905 by English King Edouard VII. Queen Elisabeth II conferred a title on the golf course in 2002.
Karlovy Vary Golf Resort. Built in 1931. In 1996, the course underwent extensive renovations to meet contemporary standards.
Praha Karlštejn Golf Club. The Canadian team of Les Furber and Jim Eremko designed drawn this golf course perched in a dream environment with majestic Karlstejn Castle in the background. Its deep ravines and bunkers can seduce even the most demanding golfer.
Astoria Golf Club Cihelny is another wonderful course located near Karlovy Vary. In 2003, the course hosted the Junior Europe Championships.
Golf Park Plzeň. This new course has managed to become one of the best in the country.
Resort Austerlitz Golf. An 18-hole course located on the old battlefield where Napoleon beat a combined force of Austrian and Russian troops. Today, some of the former bomb craters are part of the course.
Golf Club Darovanský Dvůr Golf Resort. 27 holes. The small town is located directly on the boundary line agreed to between Stalin and Roosevelt at Yalta in 1945.
Konopiště Golf Resort. Located next to Konopiště Castle, which belonged to archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria.
Čeladná Golf Resort. Designed by Miguel Angel Jimenz. 36 holes. Located amidst the natural scenery of the Beskyd Mounains foothills.
