Sledging, snowtubing, snow trampolines and bobsled runs

Skiing isn't the only winter sport you can do in the mountains. Bob-sleds, luges and even snow trampolines (!) provide great entertainment for skiers and non-skiers alike.
Sledding offers somethign for everyone. Černá hora and Janské Lázně are linked by the 3.5km Zvonková trail, which was used as a sleigh run a century ago.
A 4 km-long sledge run begins at Špindlerova bouda on Malý Šišák and ends at Dívčí Lávky by the Bílé Labe.
If you like the feel of the wind in your hair, try out the bobsled runs in Špindlerův Mlýn and Harrachov. Snowtubing involves sliding down a course made of ice on giant inner tubes, and snow trampolines are a solid favourite among children.
Another exciting experience is riding a snow scooter or specially adapted quad bikes.
And when the right weather conditions prevail, take the cable car from Pec pod Sněžkou to the top of the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Sněžka. The view of the Czech and Polish sides of the Krkonoše (Giant) Mountains and the cross-country skiing ridge trail are unforgettable experiences.
