Bajkazyl - A riverfront meeting spot for cyclists

Not only can you get your bike fixed here, but Bajkazyl (yes, "bike-asylum" is located right on the riverfront - the perfect place to enjoy a beer at this cafe/bike-repair/meeting point.
Just a stone's throw from Paláckovo náměstí (if you throw the stone over the railing towards the river), down on the embankment where the ships dock, you'll find Bajkazyl, a great place to hang out and get a beer, and also a sign that the city's nascent biking culture is beginning to take off.
Prague is not exactly a cycling city - Amsterdam it ain't. There's the hills, the narrow cobbled streets, the potholes, and the agressive drivers. It's just not in the locals' genes. But that may be changing. Every years, more cyclists hit the streets - and not just couriers, die-hards and bike geeks on their fixies. You can even see the rare cyclist who looks like he just got off work at the office.
Bajkazyl was started by one of the city's cycling pioneers, and has become a popular place to hang out. It also offer bike repair, sells bike parts, and they will fix up your old, classic, junkheap bike for you if you wish. You can even rent a bike. For more information, come on down and grab a beer, or check out their website at Bajkazyl.cz.
If you come down on the weekends, there's a great farmer's market on the embankment just a hundred yards further south.
